Personality As a descendant of the great Count Dracula, Yurika is a confident and proud child of the night. As decorous and dignified as she is, each and every mortal that stands before her should feel lucky to be blessed with her presence, for it is almost a once-in-a-lifetime experience to meet her face-to-face. In reality? Yurika is a meek little glasses-wearing girl who loves garlic ramen. Behind her monstrous facade, she enjoys reading vampire romance novels/manga and has an affinity for the Dark Ages. With her vampire character, she's able to grow and develop more confidence, and her gothic mania translates into her acting couth and elegant, very fitting for a ruler of darkness. Her true personality was exposed by the media, although after a brief depression, she managed to overcome her scandal and her fans love her for it. After all, what kind of fan wouldn't regard their vampire queen's modest true identity as adorable? When it comes to her vampire persona and her idol activities, she is extremely dedicated, even to the point of losing a competition to maintain her goofy charade. For example, she sleeps in a coffin, drinks "blood"* and rose tea, carries a parasol to protect her skin from the sun's "deadly" rays, and jokingly threatens to suck people's blood, as all vampire idols are known for doing. When she isn't practicing for her concerts, she prowls for fresh blood during the night and blogs regarding her vampiric rituals for her adoring fans. At times, she lets her character impede her, and as a result, she may come off as a lazy idol shirking her training, or possibly arrogant. She may come off as a bit tsundere, and at times, she may slip out of character around her buddies. Nevertheless, Yurika is a loving friend and a superb popular idol. Even with the threat of competition from Dream Academy, Yurika greatly respects her rivals, even if they are but meager humans. Now that you're more acquainted with the great Yurika-sama, would you like her to suck your blood? Background: Yurika comes from a normal human world where idols are a big thing. Special clothes are turned into precious cards that idols can use for Aikatsu (Idol Katsudou, or Idol Activities) concerts. Although people from her universe aren't quite as gung-ho about cards as other people (yugiohs), Aikatsu is life! Actual history section to be done when I get around to it.
